What a year 2019 was! Some very interesting and diverse productions from commercials to corporate live streaming, from event based productions to tightly planned shoots! Here’s a couple highlights we here at James Drake Films had over the year!

Going to the Moon!

We worked with NASA as a part of their “We are Going” campaign informing the public at large that landing men on the moon by 2024 is the goal of NASA and a conglomeration of many different space entities. Certainly a highlight of the year!

Global Robotic Video

Looking deep inside Amazon’s facilities we got to take a close look producing some great content for them that made it into several commercials, and we were very impressed with scale of robot automation they have going on!

Calia with Carrie Underwood

We captured some great content for Carrie Underwood’s brand Calia in both Denver and Aspen Colorado at two different events.

GM in the US – Real People

We were several times by GM in 2019, but one of the coolest projects they hired us to produce was a series of 4 stories around the US for GM to tell the deep influence the Suburban and Tahoe have had for many decades. Stories ranged from a family using Tahoes on the farm to the original suburban in the Petersen Auto Museum, a Hollywood movie car maker for all of the Fast n Furious movies among other things, to a Delta Force agent that drove a Tahoe through a war zone and life was saved by his Tahoe.

MADD Docuseries

We worked with Mothers Against Drunk Driving on a docuseries telling the powerful and often sad stories of different families impacted by drunk driving. The stories turned out very powerful and we are hopeful that they will help others make better decisions in the future.

Hair Care Supply Chain in Chattanooga

We captured one of the nations largest hair care product supply chains, showing the power of what good supply chain software can do in a complicated business space.

Grand Opening – Mission Ball Room

The Mission Ball Room is a huge and ecletic new space in Denver, we were privileged to capture the story of their grand opening

Justin Simmons Quit Now New Mexico

Justin Simmons was a treat to work with as we crafted a beautiful 30 second TVC for Quit Now at the Broncos Training Center located in Denver.

Live Stream Accenture Conference

We were asked to live stream 20 hours of content at a big finance conference, the catch being the stream had to be SOC 2 compliant and very secure. We pulled it off flawlessly and had comments from viewers on the east and wets coast saying it was “like they were there” at the conference

Save Our Youth – Retired Founder

Luis Villareal has done incredible work with Save Our Youth for 24 years and he retired recently, we were highly privileged to tell a bit of his story with a beautiful antique car museum as the backdrop

Upcoming Tech with Walmart

We’ve shot several videos in a series showcasing upcoming technologies with Walmart

Microsoft Kitchen Technology

In Wisconsin we shot a beautiful series of interviews looking into how Microsoft’s technology is enabling new types of technology products in the kitchen

A Decade of Excellence

2019 marks 10 years that we’ve worked with HighJump Software, being their primary video producer. We produce on average around 55 videos for them per year, enabling their social channels, sales departments, and marketing teams to bring clear, captivating, concise messaging to the ever growing technology supply chain space.

Team USA Shooting

Both in Colorado Springs and Michigan we filmed Team USA Shooters competing for spots in the 2020 Olympics as they cycled through trap, skeet and bunker shooting events.

Captive Luxury Real Estate TV Spots

In our 7th year working with Corken + Company, we produced 6 TV spots that aired in Denver showcasing stunning luxury homes in the area.

Diabetes Doc

We worked with longtime client Satellite Films in Washington DC to help capture the powerful story about the misinformation on diabetes treatment options.

And so much more!

There’s a lot more we could say, but we’ll leave it here and ask, how can we help you create excellent content in 2020? Get in touch today, let’s make amazing!
