We had a great time working with Justin Simmons from the Denver Broncos on a QuitNow commercial, filming right inside the Broncos Training Center in Denver. The timelines were tight and getting the shot done quickly was critical. We knew right away that having control of location is key, and thankfully we had a big enough window to have control over the complete indoor field for the entire production.
This allowed us to turn off the bright house LED fixtures and minimize the play of the bouncing ambient light, while bringing in our own package of HMI’s to do some shaping and create a great look.
The other challenge put on us was to avoid all logos, which in the training center proves to be a challenge as there are logos on every wall. With some creative framing and thoughtful blocking, we were able to eliminate all logos and still provide immense perspective and depth of the beautiful facility.
There was a lot of opportunity to be creative and find great angles to tell this motivational story as well, one cool angle was having Justin walk down the long hallway towards the field where he met up with his coach
